Are your pieces really handmade?

Yes. Our embroidered, macramé and crochet pieces are made by hand, one at a time. Small variations in colour, texture and shape are part of their charm — and what makes each piece unique.

How long will my order take to arrive?

We prepare orders within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. Between 23 November and 24 December, each piece is prepared within 3–5 business days, so please allow up to 2 extra business days. Estimated delivery counts from your order and includes preparation: mainland Portugal 4–7 business days, Madeira and the Azores 5–9, mainland Spain 5–8, Balearic Islands and Europe Zone 1 6–10, Nordic countries and Europe Zone 2 6–12, Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, Switzerland, Norway, the United States and Canada 7–14, and rest of the world 8–15 business days. All shipments are tracked and packed in a protective box, and we'll email you the tracking link once your order is on its way. More in our Shipping policy.

How much is shipping?

Shipping rates include VAT where applicable. Mainland Portugal: 5,99 € — free from 35 €. Madeira and the Azores: 6,90 € — free from 60 €. Mainland Spain: 7,90 € — free from 35 €. Balearic Islands: 9,90 € — free from 60 €. Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla: 14,90 €. Europe Zone 1 (Austria, Belgium, Czechia, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Slovakia): 9,90 € — free from 60 €. Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland and Sweden): 12,90 € — free from 95 €. Europe Zone 2 (Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Malta, Poland, Romania and Slovenia): 19,90 € — free from 95 €. Switzerland and Norway: 14,90 € — free from 150 €. United States and Canada: 19,90 € — free from 200 €. Rest of the world (Australia, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates): 24,90 € — free from 200 €. The large Suspenso Terra macramé travels in its own 175 cm box and ships within Europe only: shipping is free to mainland Portugal, Madeira, the Azores and mainland Spain; 24,90 € to the Balearic Islands, Europe Zone 1, Switzerland and Norway; and 39,90 € to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, the Nordic countries and Europe Zone 2. The final cost is always shown at checkout before you pay. Shipping rates and free-shipping amounts are set in euros. If you shop in another currency, checkout converts them and shows the exact amount in your currency before you pay.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship across Europe and to selected countries worldwide, always with tracking: to Portugal, Spain and every other EU country, Switzerland and Norway, and to the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Israel, the United Arab Emirates and Malaysia. The large Suspenso Terra macramé ships within Europe only. Within the EU there are no customs fees — VAT is already included. The Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla are outside the EU VAT area, so local import taxes may be charged on delivery. For the United States, import duties are calculated and paid at checkout, so there are no surprises on delivery. For Switzerland and Norway, import VAT is due on delivery. For Canada and the rest of the world, import duties and taxes may be charged on delivery by your country's customs and are paid by the customer. We don't ship to the United Kingdom at the moment. If your country isn't available at checkout, send us a message — we'd love to hear where you are.

Which currencies can I pay in?

Prices are shown in your local currency where available, and you'll see the final amount at checkout.

Can I return an item?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to request a return — use Request a return or cancellation or email us at ola@nyra-atelier.com with your order number. Please wait for our instructions before sending anything back — we'll provide and pay for the return label. Read the full Returns & refunds policy.

My order arrived damaged. What should I do?

We're sorry! Contact us as soon as possible at ola@nyra-atelier.com with your order number, and we'll look into it and find a solution.

How do I care for my piece?

Keep your piece away from direct sunlight and humidity to protect its colours and fibres. Dust gently with a soft, dry brush or cloth. For textile pieces, spot-clean with a slightly damp cloth only if needed.
